Manoj Poovanniyil founded RC Pet resorts after his Rottweiler, Rod, inspired him to leave IT and pursue pet care. Starting as a Rottweiler kennel, it grew into a full-service pet resort offering grooming, boarding, and pet-friendly holidays. Now with two Chennai branches, RC Pet resorts is expanding across India, driven by its philosophy of love and care for pets.

How Everything Started

RC Pet resorts was born from passion, not business. Its founder, Manoj Poovanniyil, left behind a successful IT career to pursue what truly mattered to him — pet care.

The journey began with his first pet, Rod, a Rottweiler, who changed Manoj's life forever. Rod wasn't just a pet; he was family. Through him, Manoj experienced unconditional love and loyalty, while also realizing the struggles pet parents faced in finding trustworthy and comfortable care for their companions.

Guided by Rod's memory, Manoj founded Rottweiler Chennai OPC Private Limited, an exclusive Rottweiler kennel. Over the years, he built one of the largest Rottweiler communities in India, personally associating with 7,000+ families and gaining unmatched expertise in canine care.

Growing with Passion

From there, the idea grew into something larger — to create a place that caters to all pets and their parents. This vision gave birth to RC Petresorts, designed as a home away from home with professional grooming, spa services, and resort-style boarding. Expanding further, RC Petresorts also introduced pet-friendly resorts where pet parents can holiday together with their furry companions, creating memorable experiences without leaving anyone behind.

Today, RC Pet resorts proudly operates from two major branches in Chennai, trusted by thousands of families. And the journey doesn't stop here — with growing demand and trust, RC Pet resorts is now expanding with new pet stores and grooming spas across Tamil Nadu and other major cities of India in the upcoming years, bringing our philosophy of love, care, and comfort to more pets and pet parents nationwide.
